In 1902, Georges Méliès, the Wizard of cinema, filmed “A Trip to the Moon”, the first science fiction movie.
As his assistant directors, you have to assemble the sets, employ special effects, direct the actors, shoot scenes, splice them, and even hand paint the colour to create fabulous sequences.
In 1902 Méliès you will place your assistants pawns in the Méliès studio in Montreuil to chose between different actions:
- Get new scenes to record
- Get materials for special effects
- Prepare the scenario
- Dress actors and situate them in the scene
- Record the scenes
- Cut and paste scenes in the movie
- Hand paint the photograms
Players will gain points by recording the scenes and painting photograms. The player getting more points at the end of the game will be the best assistant and the winner!
